Folklore Thursday

I wanted to share a cool twitter hashtag today. It's #FolkloreThursday, and they share any blog posts, facts, stories, tweets, or creativity related to folklore. You can follow them on twitter, or you can go to their twubs page and check in throughout the day on the live feed.

Sadly, my poem today is not folklore related. It's not even a full poem, but rather a segment of one I plan to flesh out after this writing challenge comes to an end.

The priest spreading
plague
germs too small
and stars too big
sip wipe turn
of the chalice
women with souls
revolving the Earth
where knowledge is sin
